SMOGGY SMOGGY SALT LAKE CITY

BYU recently released research stating that the smoggy weeks SLC lives with during the beginning of the year takes time off our live's. I fully believe it. I have had asthma my whole life. For years I took nebulizers every morning while watching my then favorite movie, Bambi. Eventually, the effects of the asthma went away.
This week my asthma has come back because of the smog in America's most polluted city. I hate it. If the smog makes me cough, think of what it does to the people without asthma.

Beedle the Bard - My Review

If you haven't read it, don't worry, I was behind too. "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" came out a month ago and I finally got to it. My verdict? It's great! The stories are clever and funny. JK's humor seeps through the pages of the stories. The stories teach us lessons that we all need a reminder of. They tell us that we (even wizards) are all vulnerable. They teach us that magical things don't bring us true happiness. All in all, I greatly enjoyed the stories, although I found Dumbledore's commentary and analysis to be a bit annoying at times. JK Rowling's illustrations are fantastic. They bring magic through the page that, although I love GrandPre's illustrations, can only be brought by the author. Any Harry Potter fan will enjoy reading this book again and again.
