It's always a "drill."

During second period an announcement came over the intercom about a lockdown "drill." Let me tell you, it was not a "drill". With any drill students will not take it seriously as they were not in any real danger. Soon after lockdown started a policeman came into our class asking to see our class. He stood there with a girl who looked at all of our faces and told him that "he" wasn't here. Why can't the school just say that it is a lockdown. Why do they have to cover it up? We are mature aren't we? Students would have taken it more seriously if they told us what was really going on.
