If you didn't catch it on Sunday, you really missed out. Jack Bauer is at it again in a 2 hour TV movie linking the sixth and seventh seasons. In the movie, Jack is at an African boy's orphanage. In the states, it is inauguration day for a new woman president. In 24, something is always brewing underground. I won't go into too much detail but Jack has been moving around, trying to get away a subpoena ordering him back to the US. Jack ends up in a military coup when rebel groups start taking the boys and put them in their army. It is up to Jack to find help for the boys by taking them to the city nearby and have them flown out of the country.
Although I haven't seen the sixth season yet, I understood what was going on. The plot did feel a bit rushed but I am sure they fixed it with the extended cut now on DVD. The acting wasn't great but it was just as good as the other seasons.24: Redemption showed us a good reality of what has been happening throughout the world. Overall, I would recommend this movie to anyone who has ever liked 24. This movie was a great preview of what Season 7 will offer.
