Today Martha and I made home-made root beer freezes. They were Delicious! All we did was blended vanilla ice cream and cold root beer (never diet) and froze it a little bit after it was thoroughly mixed. I can't wait to try it again!

Root Beer Freezes!
Today Martha and I made home-made root beer freezes. They were Delicious! All we did was blended vanilla ice cream and cold root beer (never diet) and froze it a little bit after it was thoroughly mixed. I can't wait to try it again!

Birds
When I came home from church today, I got a call from my neighbors, telling me to come see this bird in front of their house. I did so and to my surprise, this is what I found! It was all puffed up from nervousness and was walking on the ground, head moving back and forth. It was bigger than a quail and I had no idea which kind it was. I showed my parents. My dad called my uncle, an expert on birds, asking him what kind it was. My uncle told him it is a Chukar. He said it was probably lost, as they aren't usually alone and that it is not supposed to be in our area. Sadly, as I was taking pictures of it, a cat scared it away. It finally flew off into the distance.
