Hello all,
Well, this was quite a dissappointing week. Clint was not baptized. He is currently on a slippery slope and his future is cloudy. On Wednesday we found out that he really hadn't quit smoking. So we had a lesson with him later that day, and at first he seemed committed to really stop, but now he seems discouraged and seems to be smoking even more than before. The past couple of days he hasn't been too talkative and has really seemed to have given up. So the future is cloudy with Clint, but Elder Tanner and I are trying to stay positive. He might just be in a phase right now, but we may be headed for a bumpy road to get him baptized.
So things are only looking up from here. I'm hoping and praying for a miracle soon! We had a pretty fun week though. As you see, we went to a park that has a great view of downtown seattle. Did you know that the Space Needle actually is quite far away from the rest of the City and that Queen Anne is the only place that you can take the picture like this of the Seattle skyline?
It is officially spring in Seattle. We are having more and more sunny days, but of course it still rains a lot! There was a really nice day last week and it was really nice just to be outside walking around.
The Church came out with a newly edited version of the film "Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration." I wonder who recieved the revalation to change it. The film truly needed it to make it more understandable to a general audience.
Anyways, I am doing fine here. Things are good. We do have quite a few people to teach, just not progressing. The Church is true!
