Toy Story 3 - Not Just A Kids Movie

When Pixar announced that they were creating Toy Story 3, they had a lot to live up to. Pixar has created another classic and created a perfect trilogy.
Toy Story 3 is not just about our favorite gang of toys breaking out of a daycare, it is deeper, about growing up. In the movie, Andy is going away to college and has to decide what to do with his old toys, who desperately want to be played with. The toys accidentally get donated to a daycare center, but soon realize that a daycare isn't all it's cracked up to be and decide to escape to see Andy once again.
In the film, you meet all sorts of new characters including Ken, Barbie's beau, Lotso, a strawberry scented bear that loves to hug, and a slough of other fun characters. Toy Story 3 provides the laughs that expected from every Pixar movie mixed in with the quality story telling the studio is famous for.
Toy Story 3 is about giving up what is important, but always keeping the memories with you. Essentially, the movie is about moving on, both for the toys and Andy.
This story relates to everyone because eventually we all need to move on from our childhood, but still keep all the wonderful memories. Although I don't still have all the toys from my childhood, I remember them. Although toys can't always last forever, the memories will.
This is one of Pixar's best works. It is a heartwarming tale of growing up and sharing your happiness with others. This film is an instant classic and will be remembered by generations.
